Scholarships
In 2025, we kicked off the year with two $300 martial arts scholarships. One was for the Jersey City Police and Fire Jiu Jitsu Club and another for the the TRA Jiu Jitsu Women's Program. We raised the money with a t-shirt fundraiser where we sold our very first pieces of merchandise! Congratulations to Dria (@deathofthepartyyyy) and Alberto Mauricio (JCPD West) for being the recipients of those scholarships! And a huge thanks to WCAthletic for helping with the shirt production!
2024
Congratulations to Jersey City high school student Jonathan Bispat for winning our first scholarship! Jonathan will have a full year of classes covered at TRA Jiu Jitsu. Thank you to Thiago Rela, JP and everyone at TRA for helping with this scholarship. We are so excited to watch Jonathan take the first steps in his jiu jitsu journey!
